Alexis Donovan is a woman whose dream of falling in love with the perfect men has been dashed because of her infertile status. Still recovering from a war that almost destroyed the world, humans have fought to rebuild and have once again opened their shields to outside visitors. As a liaison officer for alien races that are visiting Earth, Alexis does her best to ignore what she can never have, but when she is put in charge of four visiting alien warriors, her entire world changes... Dragons Warriors from Arcadia, Xavier and Galan Tesera and their best friends Thorn and Brydan Volis, have been curious about Earth ever since they helped the humans defeat their enemy years ago. As commanders of their own space vessel they travel the galaxies searching out the unknown, but in their hearts they know they will never truly be satisfied without a mate by their side. When the four Dragon Warriors land on Earth they are instantly enamored with the sharp-tongued liaison who ignites a burning passion in their hearts, and know that she is the mate they have been searching for who will complete their souls. Will Alexis take a chance on four alien warriors or will the fear of leaving everything she has ever known destroy her chance of finding true love?

About the Author
Laurie Roma lives in Chicago and mainly writes contemporary, romantic suspense, and sci-fi romance. She has always loved immersing herself in a good book and now enjoys the pleasure of creating her own. She can usually be found tapping away on her keyboard, creating worlds for her characters while she listens to music. Of course her playlist depends on her mood...but then again, so does her writing. An avid reader of the romance genre, nothing bothers her more than annoying characters. Seriously, who wants a happy ending for someone that pisses you off? She loves tough alpha-male heroes and strong heroines that have brains as well as beauty. Her novels are filled with both passionate romance and down and dirty lust-driven interludes, as she believes both are essential to a good love story. She loves to hear from her readers and can be reached at laurieromabooks@gmail.com.

Ugh... I just can't...
By Andrea
Plot would have seemed formulaic, well, if there was one to begin with. The author develops each character up to a couple sentences and then Bippity Boppity BOO! The heroine is professing her love for four men that the reader didn't really even know past the fact that they turned into dragons and were well-endowed. It's a wonder this book lasted even for 170 odd pages. Oh, and these characters regularly threw juvenile temper tantrums and had fits of jealousy that were less cute and more seemingly based in insecurity. That's attractive...

The ridiculously contrived "climactic moment" was lame and lasted for maybe 3 pages at most. Easily resolved and annoying all around.

Also, the author needs to install grammar check for all the mistakes with verb tense. It was excessive.

I rarely give bad reviews (I usually don't review things at all) but this was a waste of money.

Just to confirm what others have said about this "book": yes, it was mostly sex. I would feel safe in estimating that we'll offer half to three quarters of the book is sex. Which, okay if you're into that, fine, whatever. The problem lies in that it's repetitive. Same thing.... Over.... And over.... And over... Eventually it becomes less hot and more eye-roll worthy... Which if you think about it, sums up the entire book quite accurately.

Started off promising and then became rinse and repeat
By JLW
Going by the sample, I was enjoying the world building and the promise of a dragon shifter romance, but the romance developed waaay too quickly. Within 24 hours she has slept with them and agreed to be their mate. So the rest of the book is about their sex lives and with there being 4 "husbands" it's 4 times the sex and that's just too much to the point it becomes boring and I just start skipping a lot of the book.

The dragon shifters are endowed with too many powers. They can use their magic to not only transport instantly but create objects out of nothing - that's just too much.

I wanted to like this book
By Redread
It starts with Alexis Donovan. She feels like she is less than a normal woman that can have children. The society she has grown up in has shown her that. She has 2 stalker ex-boyfriends. They are really never blown out as characters. THey are just creeps that stalk her. It glosses over what they did to her.

She meets 4 dragon warriors who immediately know she is theirs. The mate they have looked for a very long time. But... these wariors all have back stories. I mean they would have to. However, we never really hear about them.

spoiler: I liked that she got to be a shifter. Being a dragon would be fun!

However there wasn't any climax. No real big scene. No enemies, no nothing. Just a boring group of people that you know they will beat. AHHHHH! I hated that.

Good romance scenes, but I found this one lacking.
